Featured in Global Leaders Views Magazine’s “Top 10 Thought Leaders Setting New Standards in 2026,” Sander de Kramer represents a form of leadership built on action, responsibility, and a willingness to stand beside the people who need support.

A Dutch journalist, television presenter, and humanitarian, Sander has worked in communities affected by poverty, injustice, conflict, and displacement. From supporting homeless people in Rotterdam to helping children leave dangerous diamond mines in Sierra Leone and delivering essential support to families in Ukraine, his work reflects a deeply personal approach to humanitarian leadership.

His commitment to helping others began in childhood, inspired by his mother’s lesson that when you see something wrong in the world, you should not simply look away. Through the Sunday Foundation, that principle has grown into practical initiatives that have touched hundreds of thousands of lives while demonstrating the importance of showing up, taking responsibility, and turning compassion into action.
